Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?

As Christians or believers of the Way of Jesus Christ who defeated death and rose on the third day and now sits at the right hand of our Father in heaven our High Priest. We need the Holy Spirit in order to do God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Through the Holy Spirit we can do all things we could not otherwise do. For instance we can speak another language without having any formal learning of it (speak in tongues Acts 2:4). For more on Holy Spirit gifts 1 Corinthians or try the Christ Centered Mall they have lessons on all the spiritual gifts;

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a real blessing and a full need for the body of Christ to be effective. But in order to receive this blessing there are a number of things you must do.

Receive the Holy Spirit

  1. You must be born again and have the indwelling spirit of Christ and belong to Him. If you are not a Christian see The Way of the Master and take the “Are you a “GOOD” person test”

  1. You must ask, the Bible says if we ask for the Holy Spirit, that prayer will be answered.

  1. You must surrender your will to that of God’s will a sacrifice of yourself to God.

  1. You must be willing to obey the Spirit for he will help you understand the mysteries of God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

  1. You must believe by faith that if you ask for the Holy Spirit you will receive what you ask for.

  1. You must exercise what God has given you for your ministry of the witness of Jesus Christ.
