Christian Common Sense…

Do you know what it is or how to use it? Common sense is well, common, it is simple and straight forward, it is truthful. Some people say if you don’t have it you can’t get it. I disagree with that; common sense is available to anyone and everyone who wants it. So how does that relate to Christian common sense? I guess you need to know what it isn't, it is not sophisticated, it is not hard to grasp, it is not your net worth, it is not your job, it is not your looks, it is not your education, it is not your feelings. Common sense is practical my little boys who are three and four understand it so it should be a whiz for you.

Christian Common Sense 101

1. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, Matthew 6:33 This means

• Read your Bible, dictionary, concordance, etc.

• Pray, meditate daily

• Growth, seminars, conferences, etc.

• Read books with scripture

• Attend a church that teaches from the Bible

• Fellowship with other believers, prayer groups, bible studies, etc.

2. Follow through on your Promises, Jeremiah 34:16, Matthew 28:19

• Evangelize

• Serve

• Practice at Home, Work, Everywhere you go

3. Obey God, Exodus 20:3, the rules of the land, Romans 13:1

• Put God first in your life

• Vote, you decide

• Work, get involved

• Take pride in your neighbourhood & community

4. Live the Gospel of Christ, that means;

• Giving to those in need

• Practice hospitality

• Share your Faith

• Do NOT grow weary of doing good

Imagine if we all did this there would be no atheists because they would pray God would give us the order of their need, we would help they would be converted. There would be no apostasy within the body of Christ because we would NOT be hurting each other. Instead we would be demonstrating outrageous love for each other daily.

And last but not least remember to REPENT DAILY Romans3:23
