Listening is Learning...

When I was in grade four I had a great teacher (Mr. Lowe) that had a philosophy about learning that was simple, deliberate and straight to the point. His philosophy was tangible, usable, advisable, non-negotiable, indispensable and logical.

"Listening is Learning"

Quickly say it five times before you forget...

"Listening is Learning"

"Listening is Learning"

"Listening is Learning"

"Listening is Learning"

"Listening is Learning"

The Holy Bible is similar in saying as to my grade four teachers philosophy where in Romans 10:17, it says;

"So then faith comes by hearing, and by hearing the word of God."

Hearing then requires that one is willing to listen, if one is unwilling to listen or in this regard 'HEAR' (hello can you hear me?), then there is no benefit. Very similar to these sayings;

"Nothing ventured, nothing gained"

"No investment, no return"

1 Corinthians 13 says that faith without love is useless, nothing and profitless...

Love then is the qualifying factor of faith and the measure of success for the professing Christian for all the world to see. Go let your love shine and if you have to fake it, remember if you ask, you will receive.

May...

The Lord bless and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
