Faith...

Ephesians 2:8-9

8. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

9. not of works, lest anyone should boast.

FAITH is a gift from God so none can boast. Such as; my church is better than your church, my denomination is godlier then yours, or my church is the the only true church, I am a better Christian because of what I do, etc. Faith comes from God and allows us the privilege of believing in Jesus Christ the Son of God Almighty. FAITH is NOT denominational nor does it come through good works of any kind.

Everyone that has lived or is living today has thought about God at some point. This is the seed of FAITH that God has giving to all mankind. When we consciously choose to explore this gift we enter a different realm from the one we have known. It is the realm of God, were we as sinners are loved so much that God sacrificed a part of himself so that we lowly human sinners might have life through Jesus Christ. It is also a realm where a healthy fear of God is born in the repentant sinner so that he/she might finish the good works started in them.

When we first get the revelation of faith or become Christians were we repent of our sin and believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God we are intoxicated with the revelation that faith brings with it to our poor souls. That is the reason why most folks who become Christians are on fire telling everyone the good news, until they begin to loose steam. Here we come to a crossroad the place were the fear of man or fear of God has a battle inside us. If we choose the fear of man we lose because fearing man makes the gift of FAITH neutral or makes us luke-warm believers and unworthy to be called sons of God.

Whereas the fear of God allows us to complete the good work that was started in us through the gift of FAITH. If you have faith and you know it is a gift from God and have thankfully accepted it the I encourage you to add to your FAITH... VIRTUE

A Map To God's Infinite Love...

Anyone can make a claim; for example, I can claim to fly but would you believe my claim to fly? Very doubtful, however if you saw me fly then you would probably believe my claim that I could fly. Christian denominations and other worldly religions are much like this statement; as they claim to be more with God than they actually are. In most cases they make themselves less with God by representing their views and interpretations as giving to them by God thereby making themselves an authority of God here on earth. If we do not believe exactly as they do we are considered;
  • unbelievers
  • infidels
  • back sliders
  • or just plain stupid
Jesus had to come in the flesh to show God's love for us and to give a working example of what that love actually looks like. The problem is that we love conditionally and God loves unconditionally. We don't understand that there's nothing we do, that could make God love us more than He already does. Jesus came to show us how much God loves us by pursuing us with his love and message of eternal hope. God's love is full of compassion and understanding for the lost. Religiosity is full of condemnation and disdain for the lost. God loves the unlovable. Religiosity loves itself, it is full of immure rules and regulations, many that are unreachable.

If we don't get God's love all we need do is ask and keep asking until the day the light bulb goes off or until we are filled with God's love. Perhaps there is a map, a guide something that tells us which way to go; what we should do. Ya it's called the bible and here's a cold hard fact; "nobody can read it for you, you must read it yourself".

God is love and we love because he first loved us, wow that sounds like a biblical reference from 1John 4:19.

Consider also; Ephesians 2:8-9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

Consider that faith is a gift from God given to all, then consider this passage; 2Peter 1:5-7

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.

Add to your FAITH, virtue...

Add to your VIRTUE, knowledge...

Add to your KNOWLEDGE, self-control...

Add to your SELF-CONTROL, perseverance...

Add to your PERSEVERANCE, godliness...

Add to your GODLINESS, brotherly kindness...

Add to your BROTHERLY KINDNESS, LOVE...

Wow that looks like a map to me and it spells it out plain as day too.

May...

The Lord bless and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Is Christianity a Covert Religion?

Let’s look at that in relation to all the information out there about the New World Order (NWO). Ok first we need our Bibles so if you don’t have your Bible go get it before you continue reading or buy one at Amazon…

Ok turn to Ephesians 2:8-9 and read what it says there I’m using a NIV so if yours is different remember its only semantics and not cause for concern. Mine says;

8. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9. not by works, so that no one can boast.

“For it is by grace you have been saved,”

Theological meaning of;

grace –

a. the freely given, unmerited or undeserved favor and love of God.
b. the influence or spirit of God operating in humans to regenerate or strengthen them.
c. a virtue or excellence of divine origin: the Christian graces.

Theological meaning of;

-faith-

English; faith, 1. complete trust or confidence 2. strong belief in God (religion) 3. a system of religious belief

Latin; fidere, origin fides; to trust, trust in a person or thing, faith, confidence, reliance, credence, belief (syn.: fidelitas, fiducia, confidentia).

Greek; pistis, (pis-tis) truth itself, assurance, trust, belief, believe, faith, fidelity

Hebrew; êmûwn, (ay-moon) established, trustworthiness, trusty, faith, truth

and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God”

-Gift-

1.

something given voluntarily without payment in return, as to show favor toward someone, honor an occasion, or make a gesture of assistance; present.

2.

the act of giving.

3.

something bestowed or acquired without any particular effort by the recipient or without its being earned: Those extra points he got in the game were a total gift.

4.

a special ability or capacity; natural endowment; talent: the gift of saying the right thing at the right time.

“not by works,”

Theological meaning of;

-works-

Righteous deeds

“ so that no one can boast”

Theological meaning of;

-boast-

a thing boasted of; a cause for pride: Piety is his boast. It is her boast that she has never done anything wrong so it makes her a better Christian.

So it does seem covert as in one cannot receive faith without the direct involvement of God the Father in giving them faith through grace.

So Christian what is your excuse for not spreading the gospel, is it because you are;

  • Shy
  • Not your thing
  • Lazy
  • Don’t know who to tell
  • Don’t know how

No matter what your excuse you can overcome it through the exercise of your faith and belief in God the Father and his son Jesus Christ. It all starts with prayer try this prayer each morning before you start your day. “Lord please give me the words and people to tell of your saving grace today, send me those prepared to hear of You.

Good luck and God Bless your effort in spreading the gospel…
