Knowing your Testimony...
This word is a very important word for the believer to know and it also important for him to know the reasons why he believes in God through Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12:11 states;
They overcame him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.
Death the ultimate commitment to give ones life for another. The traditional vow of marriage holds that the couple entering into matrimony would love each other or stay together "until death do us part"
With wholesale dissolution's of marriage rampant in today's society I guess we are not to be held by our vows that we make. Sure there are instances where divorce is meaningful for instance infidelity.
If our testimony is to have meaning in relation to our vow to God through Jesus Christ then we must know it forward and backwards and be willing to give it at the drop of a dime.
This is why I believe...My Testimony
May...
The Lord bless and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?
As Christians or believers of the Way of Jesus Christ who defeated death and rose on the third day and now sits at the right hand of our Father in heaven our High Priest. We need the Holy Spirit in order to do God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Through the Holy Spirit we can do all things we could not otherwise do. For instance we can speak another language without having any formal learning of it (speak in tongues Acts 2:4). For more on Holy Spirit gifts 1 Corinthians or try the Christ Centered Mall they have lessons on all the spiritual gifts;
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a real blessing and a full need for the body of Christ to be effective. But in order to receive this blessing there are a number of things you must do.
- You must be born again and have the indwelling spirit of Christ and belong to Him. If you are not a Christian see The Way of the Master and take the “Are you a “GOOD” person test”
- You must ask, the Bible says if we ask for the Holy Spirit, that prayer will be answered.
- You must surrender your will to that of God’s will a sacrifice of yourself to God.
- You must be willing to obey the Spirit for he will help you understand the mysteries of God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
