I am kind of proud someone is taking this upon themselves to cause movement to unity of thr 38,000 divisions in Christianty (which really are divided over small things usually).

However, I will answer your 3 questions to the best of my ability.

"Do you think that God sent Jesus Christ to the earth to set-up a new religion called Christianity?" (MAC)

No, Jesus was obviously and clearly connected to Judaism. Paul started a new movement in Gentile regions that furnished a new movement.

"What denomination did Jesus and the Apostles belong too?" (MAC)

None...however they seem to be strongly influenced by various movements in Judaism like the Essenes or the rabbinics of the Pharisee's of the time. I think the original 12 were thoroughly following Judaism.

"Will Jesus find faith on the earth when He comes on the great and final day?" (MAC)

That parable, in my opinion, seems to harken back to Elijah's situation where he felt alone - and God re-assured him (there were 70 people like him).

I think faith will be found on the earth - but what kind of faith exactly? I see the churches moving away from the gospel message of Jesus into a gospel message about Jesus.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5465464566448681812.post-22645417733193810492009-12-13T18:00:49.873-06:002009-12-13T18:00:49.873-06:00http://www.esquire.com/features/best-and-brightest...http://www.esquire.com/features/best-and-brightest-2009/shane-claiborne-1209#ixzz0Zai6WMRC

thought this article would be of interest...darcilynahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16348627229230764501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5465464566448681812.post-3116047565363098832009-12-09T22:34:37.492-06:002009-12-09T22:34:37.492-06:00Hi Darcilyn
